Châteauneuf du Pape, Domaine Duclaux 2004 The family can trace its history back to 1627 and its domain lies close to that of Jerome Quiot. The wine has a great concentration of colour and flavour, with a balance of fruit and tannin that ensures further maturation in bottle for 10 to 15 years.     £47.00

Luigi Bosca, Malbec, Reserva, Argentina 2005 Made from old vines this is a rich, intense wine with berry and spices on the palate with a hint of pepper. It has been aged for 12 months in oak casks. £5.85 £7.80 £22.95
Château la Claymore, Lussac St. Emilion, Bordeaux 2004 Situated in Lussac St Emilion to the east of Bordeaux, this estate has 32 hectares of vineyards planted on ferruginous sandy soils, which are rich In iron deposits. The vines are 15 years old and are planted on south facing slopes, ideal for the Merlot grape variety. After a controlled low temperature fermentation in stainless steel the wine was aged in a mixture of new and old French oak for 18 months creating a delightfully rich style with flavours of plum and cedar wood. This delightful wine has gained quite a reputation in recent years. There is 80% Merlot in the blend. One of our best sellers!     £34.00

Moscatel de Setubal, J. P. Vinhos 2001 Gold Medal IWC 2006 “Bright mid-gold centre. Long pale lemon rim Rich, raisney and fruity. Inviting nose; sweet, rich and powerful. Good length” Golden colour intense aromas – orange zest, raisins, figs and walnuts. Rich and full but with balancing acidity. £3.95    
Château Coutet, 1er Cru Classé, Barsac 1998 Golden colour. Lovely lifted nose with a touch of oak, spice and lemon notes on the palate this is quite fat textured with spice, toast, marmalade and barley sugar. Lively acidity is masked by the richness of the texture, very good.     £36.00
